VET provides Basic Life and AD&D insurance at no cost to employees. Full-time employees receive a basic life benefit in the amount $50,000.
Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance is provided at the same level as an employee’s Basic Life amount.

Employee
- $10,000 increments
- Maximum up to $500,000
- Guarantee issue up $250,000
Spouse
- Maximum is up to 50% of employee coverage with maximum of $50,000
- Guarantee issue up to $50,000
Children
- Your dependent children age 14 days to 23 years (25 if full time student);
10% of employee coverage to a maximum$10,000. - Guarantee issue up to $10,000
- Bi-weekly premium: $.092 per $1,000
