Visual Edge IT has established a 401K Plan through Empower Retirement with the goal of providing the tools and resources to help you plan for and achieve financial security in retirement.
Through the 401k plan, you elect to save a percentage of your pay each period through payroll deduction. Because your savings are deducted from your pay before taxes, your taxable income will be reduced when you contribute to the plan. To encourage you to save through the plan and increase your benefit, Visual Edge IT makes a matching contribution. In order to be eligible, you must be 21 years of age or older and completed 60 days of service.
401K Plan Features
- Employees are automatically enrolled after 60 days of service at 3% unless they opt-out. Employees can change contributions percentage at any time.
- Contribute between 1% and 100% of your pay to your plan up to the IRS limit
- Employer match of 100% on the first 3% and then a 50% match on the next 2%. In order to get the full employer match, of 4%, you have to defer 5%.

- Stop your elections at any time
- Ability to change your contribution amount anytime
- Pre-tax or Roth (post-tax) saving options
- Save up to $23,000 for 2024
- Save an additional $7,500 annually if 50 or older
